You’re not alone

When everything feels heavier than it should

Depression can make ordinary things feel impossible—getting out of bed, focusing at work, staying connected to the people you love. It can look like sadness, but it can also look like numbness, irritability, or exhaustion that sleep never fixes.

Whatever it looks like for you, it’s real, and it’s treatable. Therapy for depression at Achieve Growth Therapy gives you a steady, judgment-free place to understand what’s happening and build a way forward—one manageable step at a time.

What it can look like

Signs it might be time to reach out

Persistent low mood

Sadness, emptiness, or hopelessness that lingers most of the day, most days.

Loss of interest

Things that used to feel good—people, hobbies, work—now feel flat or pointless.

Constant fatigue, trouble concentrating, or feeling like you’re moving through fog.

Changes in sleep or appetite

Sleeping too much or too little, or noticeable shifts in how you eat.

If you’re in crisis, please call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). You deserve support right now.

How we’ll work together

Proven approaches, tailored to you

CBT

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps you notice and shift the thought patterns that keep depression going—with practical skills you can use between sessions.

Solution-Focused

We build on your existing strengths and focus on concrete, achievable steps toward the life you want—not just what’s wrong.

EMDR

When depression is tangled with past trauma, EMDR can help your mind process and release experiences that keep weighing you down.

What to expect

A calm, supportive place to start

We begin with a free 15-minute consultation to talk about what you’re experiencing and whether we’re a good fit. From there, sessions are a collaborative space—we’ll set goals together and check in regularly on what’s helping.

Many clients start weekly and shift to less frequent sessions as they feel steadier. There’s no rush and no fixed timeline—we move at a pace that works for you.

When talk therapy hasn’t been enough

If you’ve already tried antidepressants and therapy without relief, there may be another path.

For treatment-resistant depression, ketamine-assisted therapy—offered in partnership with Journey Clinical’s medical team—can be worth exploring.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if I have depression?

Only a professional can offer a diagnosis, but persistent low mood, loss of interest, fatigue, or changes in sleep and appetite lasting two weeks or more are common signs. A free consultation is a low-pressure way to talk it through.

Do you offer therapy online?

Yes. We provide secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth to clients anywhere in Florida, as well as in-person sessions in Orlando.

Do you take insurance?

We’re in-network with several major insurers and also accept HSA/FSA and self-pay. Visit our contact page for the current list, and we’re glad to help you check your benefits.

What if therapy hasn’t worked for me before?

That’s more common than you think, and it doesn’t mean you’re out of options. We can revisit your approach—and for treatment-resistant depression, explore ketamine-assisted therapy together.
